What We Do
Expert engineering for every rooftop, from 3kW homes to massive MW-scale industrial plants.
System Types
Three configurations — each suited for different goals and budgets.
Best for bill elimination. Your solar powers your home, and excess is sent back to the grid via net metering — earning you bill credits.
Shuts down during power cuts (safety requirement). Add battery for backup.
Complete independence from the grid. Battery storage ensures power through the night and during outages — no grid required.
Higher upfront cost due to batteries. Not eligible for PM Surya Ghar subsidy.
Grid-connected with battery backup. Run on solar by day, battery by night or during power cuts — with the grid as an optional safety net.
Subsidy available on the solar component. Recommended for areas with frequent power cuts.

Questions Answered
Everything Gurgaon homeowners and business owners ask before going solar.
For a 1–2 kW system, the central government subsidy is ₹30,000 per kW (up to ₹60,000). For 2–3 kW, an additional ₹18,000 per kW applies for the extra kW. Systems above 3 kW receive the maximum subsidy of ₹78,000, credited directly to your bank account via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
Net metering allows you to export excess solar electricity to the DHBVN grid. This exported power is credited in your monthly bill at the prevailing rate. In summer months, Gurgaon solar customers often generate more than they consume — earning credits that offset winter or night-time grid usage, reducing annual bills to near zero.
Once a site survey is complete and you approve the quote, the physical installation typically takes 2–3 working days. DHBVN net metering approval and the PM Surya Ghar subsidy process take an additional 45–60 days — but your system generates power from Day 1. We handle all paperwork so you have nothing to do.
Yes. We offer easy EMI options through our banking partners starting from ₹2,500/month for a 3 kW system. Many customers find that their monthly EMI is lower than their current electricity bill — making the switch financially positive from Month 1. Zero down-payment options are also available for eligible customers.
Standard on-grid solar systems shut down automatically during grid failures — this is a safety requirement. If you need power during outages, you need a hybrid or off-grid system with battery storage. Our 5 kWh lithium battery add-on provides 4–6 hours of backup for essential loads like fans, lights, and a fridge.
Our Tier-1 monocrystalline bifacial panels come with a 10-year product warranty and a 25-year linear performance warranty (minimum 80% output at year 25). String inverters are covered by a 5-year manufacturer warranty, extendable to 10 years. Voltmen Solar provides an additional 2-year workmanship guarantee on all installations.
Solar is most effective on owned independent houses, villas, and commercial buildings. However, many group housing societies are now installing shared rooftop solar systems where the generated power reduces common-area electricity charges. For rented flats, the landlord would need to approve the installation.
Most concrete rooftops in Gurgaon are suitable for solar. The key factors are available shadow-free area (we need roughly 10 sq ft per kW), roof orientation (south-facing is ideal), and structural load capacity. Our engineers perform a comprehensive free site survey that covers all these parameters before designing your system.
Solar systems are very low maintenance. The primary task is periodic panel cleaning — Gurgaon's dust and pollution can reduce output by 15–30% if panels aren't cleaned regularly. We recommend cleaning every 2–3 months and an annual electrical health check. Our Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) covers all of this starting from ₹4,999/year.
Most Gurgaon residential customers see their DHBVN electricity bills drop by 80–100% after going solar. A 5 kW system typically generates 600–650 kWh per month in Gurgaon — enough for a 3–4 BHK home's full consumption. Customers paying ₹6,000–₹12,000 per month commonly achieve zero bills by May.
